Our mentoring program is very unique, and unlike other mentoring programs that exist in the City. Our program will require minimal committed hours but will help link students with a mentor and an internship in a field that interests them. This experience will help provide them with real work experience and offer these students a rare look inside what their future may become if they chose to continue on their desired path. I want to be a Mentor!
As a mentor, we ask you to commit 2 hours of your time for a one time presentation, where you will introduce yourself to our students, talk about your business, your struggles and triumphs, and provide these students with an understanding of what life is like once they graduate high school. It is our goal to not only help guide these students in a positive direction but also provide summer internships to at least two of the participating students in your mentoring session for the duration of 6 weeks. The terms are negotiable since our aim is to help better meet your business needs. We not only want our students to get the most out of this program but we want to be able to provide you with the human capital you need to continue to grow your business.
